Grief is strange: It’s universal, yet such a lonely journey we must make time and time again. It arrives in seasons for all of us, yet every time we’re left learning how to live with what will never make us whole again. In this workshop, we’ll use ikebana as a quiet way to explore ikebana (Japanese floral arranging) and cultural concepts of seasonality, impermanence, and wabi-sabi—finding beauty not in perfection, but in what is fleeting, weathered, and incomplete. Through branches, flowers, space, and silence, we’ll give grief somewhere to exist outside of ourselves, even if it’s just for a couple hours.
Due to the nature of specialized plant material curation in ikebana and floral design, no refunds will not be issued after 10/12/26. All workshops and learning sessions take place at our RINO studio: 3270 Blake St. #140 Denver, CO.
Registration includes guided instruction, plant materials, use of community tools, and light refreshments (local and imported Japanese tea and snacks). Group size is limited to 5 for proper, individualized instruction.
SCHEDULE: Sunday, October 25, 2026 10am-12pm
